Ranger and Man-at-Arms: same profession
Please tell me this guy from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe:

doesn't feel A LOT like the guy from Quake, nicknamed Ranger:

Same middle-aged look, same exploratory equipment (especially the helmets) and similar improvising habits (the latter uses an axe sometimes and used to be portrayed as wielding a hammer too). They both look like people sent to all sorts of weird, alien places, to kill or neutralize hostile stuff.
